The land above, near the town of Jalapa, is the future home of Little Lambs of Guatemala. If you visit this land now, you can see fabulous views of pine-clad hillsides and brush-covered lowlands. You can hear the river gurgling and the wind in the trees. Once you’ve caught the vision of the founders of Little Lambs, you’ll see children playing and hear their laughter mixed with the sound of the river and the wind. You’ll envision this land transformed into a home.

As of January 2008, the adoption of children from Guatemala to US families is on hold. The closure of adoption has put a new strain on the already impossible situation for at risk children in Guatemala. Not only will thousands of additional children be without homes and the prospect of a family, but facilities that have traditionally been supported through international adoption fees will have lost critical funding. This is a critical situation, one exacerbated by an overall worsening economic situation.

Little Lambs International is a Christian non-profit organization founded in July 2008. Our Mission is to serve and empower orphaned children world-wide, by the love of Jesus Christ.
